Bears’ Charles Tillman worth the trip for ‘Street Tweets” participants Hawaii native Paul Balazs isn’t sure how he became a Bears fan, although he suspects it may have something to do with when he entered the world. ‘‘I was born in 1985,’’ he said. Balazs, a special education teacher in Honolulu, made his first trip to Chicago to watch his beloved Bears in person. He couldn’t have picked a better week.

Forever Yogurt Coming to North Ave. Beach This June; Expanding Beyond Chicago Memorial Day is just around the corner and with that comes the unofficial start of beach season. This year beach bums and those who use the lakefront for more recreational purposes, will have a new sweet treat to cool off with. Starting in June, Forever Yogurt will continue their expansion with a new concession just west of the North Avenue bridge. The seasonal kiosk (which is actually a trailer) will have eight to 10 flavors and a 40-topping bar.

Forever Yogurt Launching ForeverTruck on Saturday If popping into one of the three Forever Yogurt locations wasn’t enough to help you cool down from this never-ending heat wave, perhaps their new food truck, the ForeverTruck, will. Launching this Saturday at the The Big Dig volleyball tournament on North Avenue Beach, the truck will serve six of Forever Yogurt’s most popular flavors along with 24 toppings including fresh fruit.
